I’m reaching out to provide you with an update on the Canada Greener Homes Grant (CGHG) program.
First and foremost, thank you for your participation in the CGHG Annual Review engagement sessions last spring, and for taking the time to share your input and suggestions.
Our intent was to review the grant tables and implement changes annually, but as you are likely already aware, the CGHG program is now fully subscribed and has closed to new applicants as of 12 February 2024. Our focus is now on ensuring a smooth journey for existing applicants who are in the process of completing their retrofits, and as a result, we will no longer be making changes to the CGHG grant tables.
I would like to assure you, however, that your valuable input remains available to support future programming, including the next phase of Canada Greener Homes Initiative. We look forward to building on the success of the CGHG program and continued collaboration with our partners and stakeholders.
