1st/2nd Quarter Energy Efficiency Report: Focus on NBC 2025

Dear Members,

Quarterly, we will be bringing you all an update on matters related broadly to energy efficiency in the Fenestration industry. With tariffs dominating the first quarter of the year, this update has admittedly slipped. The National Building Code has wrapped up the public feedback periods and task groups related to the 2025 edition. The Canadian Board of Harmonized Construction Codes(CBHCC) is now in a "pencils down" period. This felt as good a time as any to provide feedback on what we are likely to see come out of the work done on the next edition.
