Hello Fenestration Canada Members,
As we approach the end of a year that has been, to put it mildly, turbulent for the broader trade environment, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the steady support you’ve shown. With your backing and my sincere gratitude, Fenestration Canada has continued growing into an organization that not only educates but actively participates in policy and advocacy work on your behalf.
Over the past year, we’ve strengthened our voice at the federal level, building relationships aimed at shaping future support and greater stability for our industry. We’ve begun using our collective expertise to help address structural issues across codes, standards, and regulations that affect everyone in the fenestration sector. It’s work that has lived close to my heart, and the conversations I’ve had with many of you have made it possible for me to act as a responsible steward of our industry.
To ensure Fenestration Canada and I continue serving you effectively, we are establishing an Advocacy Committee: a place for our industry to contribute its voice in a structured way and help guide a collective strategy for the years ahead. Together, we’ll refine and advance our association’s policy agenda. I will share regular updates on the work underway, along with opportunities for you to provide input on the documents and discussions we bring forward to various levels of government.
Fenestration Canada exists to support our members and the manufacturers of windows, doors, and skylights across the country. This committee represents the next step in that mission, and I hope you’ll join us for our first meeting as we shape what this new path will look like for 2026 and beyond.
To join the committee and the first meeting, please contact lee@fenestrationcanada.ca. Please note that membership must be up to date in order to participate.
Humbly yours,
Adrian Edge
Director of Codes and Regulatory Affairs
