NRC Durability project
​This session will explore current NRC research focused on the durability, performance, and future development of high-performance glazing systems. Attendees will learn about NRC’s ongoing durability project, including testing, field studies, and performance measurements, as well as the coordinated efforts between Fenestration Canada and NRC through the industry survey and advisory board. The session will also provide an overview of key NRC glazing research projects, including PVC recycling and window frame research, CCHT pilot studies, daylighting, simulation analysis, acoustic performance, thermal comfort and safety, and fire safety, highlighting what these initiatives could mean for the future of the fenestration industry.

the Business of it all: Navigating Trade Risk in the Canadian Fenestration Industry
​​Cam Drew speaks with Hugh Lee, Partner at Cassidy Levy Kent. In his decade-long career in the field of international trade law, Hugh has assisted clients in a wide range of trade issues from both private and institutional perspectives. As a member of Cassidy Levy Kent’s Ottawa team, Mr. Lee assists clients in the full spectrum of Canadian trade law, with an emphasis in matters related to trade remedies, customs, sanctions, and export-import controls. His firm has offices in Ottawa, DC, and Brussels. Hugh will be speaking on Tariffs, Trade Defense mechanisms, and many points in between.
