Invitation to Submit Proposals - Fenestration Canada / NRC LCA Consultant RFP

Dear Members,

Fenestration Canada, in collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to support an important industry project: the development of life cycle inventory (LCI) datasets for fenestration components (frame materials, glass, and assembly).

This work will:

• Provide NRC with high-quality, representative datasets to support national policy and environmental assessment tools.

• Deliver manufacturer-ready datasets that can be directly used by our members in LCA and EPD processes.

• Strengthen the credibility and competitiveness of Canada’s window and door sector by aligning environmental data with industry needs.

Key Details:

• RFP Deadline: September 19, 2025, 5:00 PM ET

• Submission: Proposals must be submitted in PDF format via email to adrian@fenestrationcanada.ca with the subject line “Proposal - LCI Consultant RFP.”

• Project Timeline: October 2025 - November 2026

• Deliverables: NRC-ready datasets, manufacturer-ready datasets, and a plain-language industry summary
