Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau says applications are now open for the government’s promised new multimillion-dollar loan program aimed at providing financing access to large employers impacted by the COVID-19 economic downturn.
Called the Large Employer Emergency Financing Facility (LEEFF), big companies across most sectors will now be able to apply to access millions in additional liquidity to keep their operations going and avoid bankruptcy. Read more here.
