This webinar will present a clear picture of the measures that are currently available and how they can be strategically used to reduce the economic impact brought on by COVID-19.
Bonny Koabel CPA, CGA is the President of AKR Consulting. In 2003 AKR Consulting Canada was founded to assist companies with obtaining difficult to access Government funds including grants, subsidies, tax credits, refunds and rebates. Ms. Koabel comes from the print industry where she learned firsthand how to obtain Government funding. Ms. Koabel began her career at a Flexographic narrow web label printer in Mississauga where she assisted her company in obtaining funding for many initiatives including ISO training and certification, R&D grants, travel grants, hiring grants and property tax rebates. Ms. Koabel having learned how lucrative Government funding was and how it could increase a company’s bottom line shared this knowledge with other business colleagues, but soon learned that while her business colleagues qualified for these Government funding programs they needed assistance through the whole Government funding process.
AKR Consulting Canada was born out of this need for assistance by businesses to facilitate the entire Government funding process from beginning to end. Ms. Koabel and AKR Consulting Canada have years of experience in Government funding and have developed strong relationships with the Government. They have also seen firsthand that Government funding is encouraged by all political parties – Conservative, Liberals and NDP. While the names of programs may change Government funding programs remain intact.
