Andrew Haring Leaves NGA to Pursue New Opportunity in the Industry

April 15, 2024 (Vienna, VA) - Andrew Haring, VP of business development at the National Glass Association (NGA), is leaving the association to pursue a new position at a member company.

“Andrew greatly impacted NGA in many positive ways,” said Nicole Harris, president & CEO. “He worked very creatively to elevate NGA’s visibility for our important advocacy and education initiatives. Andrew and his team also infused our events, especially GlassBuild America, with new excitement. I know he will bring this tremendous energy where he goes next, and I look forward to seeing how.”

Haring joined NGA in 2018 after departing from C.R. Laurence (CRL) as Vice President of Marketing, and led business development initiatives including marketing, sales and promotion for the association.

“I was an advocate and member of NGA before working here and will remain one forever,” says Haring. “I now have a sounder understanding of the importance of this incredible trade association, and I’ll take that and the friendships I’ve gained over the years with me. I will continue to champion NGA as the voice of the glass industry at every turn and on every level.”

ABOUT NGA

Founded in 1948, the National Glass Association (NGA), www.glass.org, combined with the Glass Association of North America (GANA) in 2018 to form the largest trade association serving the architectural glass and metals industry supply chain, including glazing contractors, full-service glass companies, glass fabricators, primary glass manufacturers and suppliers to the industry. It is a technical powerhouse that brings some of the best minds to the table to create technical resources and promote and advocate for glass in buildings. NGA's education and training resources—including MyGlassClass.com and Glazier Apprentice Curriculum—and its official publications Glass Magazine and Window + Door, keep the industry knowledgeable and well informed. NGA also produces the industry's largest annual trade show in the Americas, GlassBuild America, and hosts these conferences: NGA Glass Conferences, Building Envelope Contractors (BEC) Conference, Glazing Executives Forum, and GPAD (Glass Processing Automation Days). In 2024, NGA was named Best Nonprofit to Work For. Contributions to The NGA Foundation support training the industry and educating consumers about the many ways glass and glazing contribute to a safe, healthy, sustainable, and inspiring built environment. Follow NGA on FacebookTwitter and LinkedIn.
