Event Overview: May 28-31, 2024
Spanning four days, the Spring Conference in Kananaskis is packed with tailored activities for both professional development and relaxation.
Day 1: May 28
The conference kicks off with The President's Dinner featuring our President's Award and recognition for outstanding contribution to our industry.
Day 2: May 29
The second day starts strong with breakfast followed by the Annual General Meeting for voting members. The morning continues with a Supplier Showcase and insightful updates on the Fenestration Canada Market Study.
Post-lunch, delve into a session on Per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) substance regulations, an NRCan Update and 2020NBC update session, and provincial adoption.
The day rounds off with an evening at Boundary Ranch, complete with lawn games, carriage rides, local band and dancing. Meet us in the lobby to catch the bus to the event! Cowboy attire is encouraged! We will provide hats and t-shirts!
Day 3: May 30
Breakfast is followed by the Manufacturer's Council Meeting and time to visit the Supplier Showcase tabletops.
Then, educational sessions continue with a presentation on the EC3 Embodied Carbon Calculator, aTechnical Services Committee meeting and a Fenestration Canada Technical Department update.
The third day wraps up with a dinner that marks the beginning of the Extended Experience package.
Day 4: May 31
The Extended Experience offers all participants a choice of spending the fourth day golfing at Kananaskis Country Golf Course or relaxing at the Nordic Spa within the hotel, with options for joining the golfers later for a BBQ dinner.
