WinDoor 2026 is almost here, and this year’s event is shaping up to be two packed days of business, education, networking, innovation - and a little bit of fun.

Taking place November 5 - 6 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, WinDoor brings together manufacturers, suppliers and industry professionals from across Canada and beyond. Whether you’re coming to discover new products, connect with suppliers, learn about the issues shaping our industry or simply catch up with colleagues, there’s plenty to put on your calendar.

Thursday: Start Strong

The Manufacturers Council and Technical Services Committee meetings will give Fenestration Canada members a chance to connect and dig into important industry issues.

For everyone attending WinDoor, the Learning Lounge features a full afternoon of education.

At 12:30 p.m., Cam Drew of Fenestration Canada will present The Pursuit of Better: Building a Culture of Continuous Improvement, continuing the conversation around LEAN methodology and practical tools businesses can use to improve their operations.

Then, at 3:15 p.m., Alex Hayes of NRCan will take a look at the latest NRC Durability Project research. The session will explore high-performance glazing durability, testing and field studies, as well as broader NRC research into areas including PVC recycling, daylighting, acoustics, thermal comfort, safety and fire safety. It’s a great opportunity to get a look at where research and innovation could take the industry next.

And then… things get interesting.

Thursday night, WinDoor heads downtown for the VP's Auction - Defenestration Canada, at Théâtre St-Denis.

This year, the auction is stepping into the ring with professional wrestlers, real wrestling matches, a live auction and plenty of entertainment, all while raising money for the Fenestration Canada Scholarship Fund.

Friday: More Learning, More Connections

Day two keeps the momentum going with four more sessions in the Learning Lounge.

Start the morning with The Business of It All, presented by Cam Drew, followed by a fireside chat with Jennifer Small of Screenco Manufacturing, hosted by Terry Adamson.

At 1:00 p.m., Jennifer Small will also host Women in Fenestration, creating an opportunity to connect, share experiences and highlight the women contributing to the future of our industry.

The final session of WinDoor 2026 will focus on ENERGY STAR and federal program updates, presented by Jamie Hulan of NRCan - an important conversation as programs and energy-efficiency requirements continue to evolve.

And, of course, there’s the main attraction running throughout both days: the WinDoor show floor.

With industry suppliers and manufacturers gathered under one roof, it’s the perfect opportunity to see what’s new, discover products and technologies, meet with existing partners and make new connections.
