Toronto, June 18, 2026 – Fenestration Canada and the Association de vitrerie et fenestration du Québec (AVFQ) are proud to announce the conclusion of a historic agreement in principle aimed at strengthening synergy within the doors and windows industry.
This strategic collaboration will allow the two organizations to strengthen their collaboration and optimize their political and economic impact. While Fenestration Canada acts as a national association representing the industry at the federal level, the AVFQ will bring its expertise and local roots, becoming a major asset for discussions and issues at the Quebec level.
In addition to solidifying the industry's representation, this agreement will offer direct added value to the members of both associations. They will notably be able to benefit from exclusive advantages during major industry events, starting with the WinDoor show to be held in Montreal this year, as well as during other events organized by the two entities, both in Canada and abroad.
"With the political and economic challenges of recent years, it has become essential to unite our voices and our efforts," specifies Stéphane Labelle, Executive Director of Fenestration Canada. "This agreement allows us to speak with one strong voice, while respecting and valuing regional specificities."
The success of this bringing together relies on close collaboration between the two organizations. The leadership of Maggie Champagne, General Manager of the AVFQ, notably played a key and decisive role in the conclusion of this agreement between the two boards of directors.
The operational details of this agreement in principle will be shared with members over the coming weeks.
