Canadian Window Manufacturer Expands to PPE for Frontline

Canadian manufacturer, North Star Windows & Doors (based in Ontario in Woodbridge and St. Thomas) has partnered with various Canadian vendors to design and source the materials required to produce protective face shields for our frontline workers, such as medical practitioners, personal support workers, and factory employees, who have close human contact. The face shields were designed by North Star’s engineering team and are made to Federal Government Guidelines for both material and size. The design was finalized based on feedback from an Ontario hospital to ensure usability and comfort. North Star has expanded current production capabilities at their St. Thomas plant to enable up to 3,000 high-quality face shields to be manufactured per week. Read the press release here.
