Vicone Sells Extrusion Manufacturing Division to Pro-FlexRubber Inc.

Saint-Bruno, QC — Vicone High Performance Rubber is pleased to announce the sale of its extrusion manufacturing division to Pro-Flex Rubber Inc., a long-established extrusion rubber manufacturer based in Granby, Quebec. The transaction officially closed on June 9, 2025.

This transition marks a strategic realignment for Vicone, which has operated its own extrusion facility for over a decade and has served clients across multiple industries since its founding in 2004. Moving forward, Vicone will focus exclusively on the value-added reselling of custom molded rubber parts, supporting specialized markets including medical, recreational, food & beverage, and others.

Pro-Flex Rubber Inc., founded in 1989, will now take over all extrusion-related operations and customer support, particularly in key sectors like architectural glass and glazing. Key Vicone personnel, including technical and product development experts, have transitioned to Pro-Flex to ensure operational continuity and smooth client experience.

Transition Overview:

- Pro-Flex assumes full responsibility for extrusion operations, production, customer service, and billing

- Vicone shifts its focus entirely to molded rubber part solutions

- Manufacturing equipment is scheduled to be relocated to Pro-Flex’s Granby facility during summer 2025

- Direct communications and FAQs have been provided to all impacted customers
