As professional associations such as EGBC produce guidelines such as “Principles of climate adaptation and mitigation for engineers” and in particular focus on the service and resilience of a system over the entire operating life, the products used will have to align with this concept.
We need to bring awareness to fenestration durability, particularly in relation to long-term performance assessment, increased energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
