ENERGY STAR Canada Pauses New Submissions Until May 9th 2025

ENERGY STAR Canada is advancing its YESCan (Your ENERGY STAR Canada) platform, an essential tool for manufacturers to submit Annual Unit Shipment Data for fenestration products. After completing Phase I in 2024, which allowed manufacturers to report their 2023 data, many participants are now in the process of submitting data for 2024.

Phase II of the platform is currently underway and will introduce a new Submission Module. This update will allow Certification Bodies to access the platform and submit new product information on behalf of their clients. Once fully implemented, these enhancements will improve automation and streamline the submission and data processing workflow.

As ENERGY STAR Canada tests the new Submission Module, there is a temporary pause on processing requests to add, modify, or delete products. This means that updates to the Searchable Product List will also be on hold until testing is complete. According to ENERGY STAR Canada, testing is expected to conclude by May 9, 2025, at which point Certification Bodies will gain access to the new module.

This temporary pause may affect ongoing operations, and ENERGY STAR Canada acknowledges the inconvenience. They appreciate the industry's patience and cooperation during this transitional period.

We will continue to share updates as they become available and keep you informed on key milestones in the rollout of the YESCan platform.
