The report for this quarter will be brief and focus on the activity of the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes (CCBFC) Standing Committee on Energy Efficiency work toward the 2025 National energy codes.
The Standing Committee on Energy Efficiency (SC-EE) is responsible for developing the code language for the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB) and Section 9.36 of the National Building Code. The standing committee on energy efficiency (SC-EE) is moving forward on the development of the 2025 code. Due to the late publishing of the 2020 codes the 2025 code cycle will be a very short time frame.
