1. We recently received a request for a fixed window that is larger than our biggest tested size. We can build the custom product but not sure how we can still comply with the local building code in Ontario?

1. There are alternate pathways for compliance for products larger than tested. Commonly referred to as the “Part 5 path”. Requires involvement of registered professional engineer to evaluate and sign off on the oversized product. This typically involves review of available product test reports, product design, glass, installation etc. May also involve on site testing. It is recommended to discuss this option with local AHJ to insure you are following their alternate solutions options.
