Committee Mandates
Executive Committee
Mandate: To serve as the planning and priorities committee of the national board of directors; to monitor financial and management performance; and to represent the board on matters requiring immediate attention.
Nominating Committee
Mandate: To identify potential candidates for national executive, board and committee service; and to fulfill specific duties related to the preparation of a slate of candidates for election as directors on the board.
Planning Committee
Mandate: To develop medium and long-range objectives, and establish achievable and measurable short-term goals that will shape the Association's focus and actions over the next 1 to 3 years.
Membership & Marketing
Mandate: To establish and execute a national strategy for membership recruitment and retention including the identification and marketing of services; and to communicate the value and progress of Fenestration Canada services both internally and externally using electronic, web-based and print mediums.
Education
Mandate: To develop and promote educational programs, training and information exchange designed to meet the needs and expectations of all members of the Association.
Technical
Mandate: To develop and influence technical and standards issues which may impact the Window and Door industry in Canada.
Government Relations
Mandate: to monitor and influence any legislation, regulation and initiatives, which may impact the Window and Door industry in Canada.
Win-Door
Mandate: To effectively and efficiently provide management direction and content input to third-party consultants and association partners.
